If you can test this on your guitar at a local store before buying it may be a good idea. It caries the Fender name but that obviously doesn't mean it's going to fit every Fender. It works on 2 of 4 of my fenders nicely, the one I needed it to fit it barely works on and one it won't work at all on. So it is a temp one while I go find one that does work where I need it to. That said...it is made well, works easily. If it had a tad more coverage from hi to low strings it would be perfect. I'm giving it a 4 only because it is well made and it's ease of use. I think to give it less would be unfair but it isn't perfect either.

Made from cheap cast aluminum. The steel thumb screws thread is too fine and thus a bit too much force when tightening ruins the thread on the capo. The thread should be implemented via a steel insert not just threaded directly into cheaply produced cast. I re-worked the capo with a bigger thread and thumb screw and it works a bit better, but I shouldn't have to do that. I have used a cheap plastic China version which lasted over a year before I purchased this one which lasted less than a day. Very disappointing product for a brand name. Buy something else.

This isn't a one-handed capo, like some other brands. However, Fender wouldn't make a crappy one...and they sure didn't. I've tried many...but this is right up there with holding all six strings down firmly...which, when you think about it..is pretty much what you want it to do. $12.00....well-spent.

In my Spanish Classical Guitar that has a thick and wide neck covers up to the 7th fret (which is more the enough for my purpose), in a Fender FA-155 covers the full range of frets. In the pictures it looks big and a little gross because there is nothing in the picture to compare with it, but I was surprise of how small is in the reallity.

Secures nicely without the risk of leaving a mark. The tightening screw is nice to be able to adjust tightness depending on neck size. Not as quick to apply, but what's an extra 4 seconds? Recommended
