This board replaces the same one in my XP computer that ran for 12 yrs before the capacitors died. I have too many computers but that is still is not enough. In 1 hr I had this board installed with the old memory, processor, video and sound cards. It was flawless with no complications. I was happy to discover that I did not have to update the bios to accommodate the larger drives as I did on the old board. This board has worked well for me for at least a decade. I have other computers that run other OS but I’ve always been partial to XP. I've been using computers since the MS-DOS days and I've done most of my tinkering with XP. I'm usually a big fan of ASUS boards but have never had a problem with MSI.
