Ok scoop but very lightweight, would not recommend.
Bought this scoop as the one that I had was about 10years old, it was on it's last legs, but was a heavyweight one, this is not strong or heavyweight, I would not recommend.

Sort of OK for now.
Serves the purpose but isn't robust - I can imagine having to buy a replacement before too long. The problem in particular is that the handle is not tight - it twists.. It does the job at the moment but............

Not robust enough for ice cream
Works OK for soft mashed potato, but found it useless for ice cream. Had to 'scoop' the ice cream from the scoop with a spoon!!! Not nearly strong enough and whole trigger assembly fell to bits after 3 uses. Was able to reassemble but is not at all satisfactory. Would not recommend.

A nice well made scoop
This is a really nice ice cream scoop. It has a traditional mechanism that is solidly made and it has a neat wooden handle which we like better than plastic - it is also good for serving potato mash
