Indoors it's extremely bright (even with all room lights on); outdoors it also works well if you shade the beam's impact point with a piece of card and use the green reflective target supplied. I installed a fence, at ranges up to about 30' in broad daylight without any problems. Activating the extended warranty needs a smartphone/QR code reader, which I don't have; I'll try the helpline.

THEN a few days later he asked for it back, but couldn't, or wouldn't provide a prepaid postage return label. Finally, this morning, he said "OK, keep it." I know what I think, but it's up to you?
