    OEM Part

    The part is OEM and replaces the broken part effectively, you have to watch the hinge pin doesn't fall out when fitting as it's a loose fit. It's ok once in the housing of the handle. This pin needs to be loose as it is the corrosion in this area of the hinge pin that eventually causes the part to break. The overall fitting of the job takes about 45mins if you're a first timer.

    Identical design to original which was not fit for purpose.

    The problem is that the original design of the product is faulty as was the OEM part. As this part is identical to the original, the problem will occur again because the hinge pin is so small and designed to move within a tiny die-cast part. Cold weather, dirt and road debris will make failure inevitable unless it is regularly lubricated.

    Fiat 500 door handle.

    Replaced my daughters broken 2010 Fiat 500 door handle with this one. Fitted well and has been in regular use for a couple of years now. Good product.

    Cheap and does the job!

    As anyone who’s had / has a Fiat will know little things will break and my drivers door handle was literally hanging off, so this piece of kit was perfect and affordable. Did the job and my handles like brand new :)

    EASY TO FIT!

    Surprisingly easy to fit; there's a you-tube post showing how you do it.. I found that it was posible to get the broken hinge out of the door handle without removing it from the car, using a cross head screw and a 1/4" spanner.. I used a dental mirror to see what I was doing... I had taped the jiffybag which the hinge came in to protect the paintwork from being scratched by the tools! I was also able to put the new hinge in place this way too [I used some masking tape to retain the hinge pin] and found it easy to put the hinge in place, having removed the old part from the door. ##On our 500, apart from T20 [30?]screw behind the 'chrome' [haha] door handle and two behind the little bit of trim, which pops off from where you grasp the door there were NO screws holding the trim on the door, ...
