Simple but does the job
I got one of these to hold down a large and heavy gel battery under the front seat of a camper van. It worked well, my only criticism would be that the supplied red plastic washers which go between the bar and the wingnuts are too soft and deform a lot when the wingnuts are fully tightened.

Simple battery clamp I used on a classic tractor. I cut the clamp down as only needed the smallest setting, the clamp is easily modified with reasonably basic tools. Does exactly what it promises to
