    Fender P base wired control plate

    Cheaper then buying the components separately. Great quality. Not a problem if you don't need the plate. It fits perfectly in the newer p basses that are mounted on the pick guard. You can sell the plate for around $10. Another bonus..... Look at the wiring before you install. The output jack on mine was wired backwards.

    Great deal!

    Agreed , this is an excellent deal since it costs less than a plate alone otherwise. This plate is hard to find and is the true old 51-57 P-bass curve and dimension, with holes for usa pots - very different than the Japan '51 version.

    A Perfect Fit

    With many of the Fender products, you can run into some slight sizing and screw hole pattern differences for the same item depending upon its region of manufacturing. This 51 Control plate perfecrly fit my Made In Japan Fender Sting Signature Precision bass. Its well made and feels very durable

    Fits almost perfect to my MIJ '51 Precision, but not for CTS pots.

    Great price and high quality, however doesn't fit CTS pots shafts.
