I have USA-made Durasharp scissors that are over 20 years old and still maintain a sharp edge for kitchen and shop utility use. I was unhappy to find these new ones are now made in China ! There was a slight distortion in one blade which caused a wear mark (which would have failed German and US final QC) in one pair but the cutting edge was fine. Honing the high spot would have damaged the Ti. coating. Cutting blades only 3 1/8" long (down from 3 1/2" on the old ones)

The arrived brand new just as advertised on the package. The old style is better and cheaper than the new style. They look fantastic. I have searched high and low with 3 failed orders where they advertised the old style but sent the new style. The old style is American made. The new style is overseas.
