    A must see in light of today's events.

    I never watched this series when it was on, but started buying seasons to stay away from the news. Not always "up" it is a rare drama filled with historic accuracy about the UK as the war approached. Watch it and you will see unsettling parallels in today's news. I highly recommend this series for anyone who asks more of their entertainment than just fluff!

    Outstanding series!

    I have been a huge fan of Foyle's War since it first aired. The writing is exceptional thanks to writer and creator Anthony Horowitz. Although serious in nature, there is also a very nice touch of humor in each episode. With great characters perfectly cast, good mysteries in every story, and beginning with the unique premise of a policeman fighting home-grown crime during wartime, this show is a winner.

    One of best series

    Foyles War is a favorite of mine. The acting is supberb, the set and scenery are so well done you feel as though you are back in the l940s. Storylines are very good. I have the whole 8 sets and wish there were more!!! If you like British Detective series, then you'll love this.
