  • Excellent CD

Robben Ford is an amazing musician and doesn't disappoint on this release. This album contains less blazing guitar work from Mr. Ford, however that's not a bad thing. Michael McDonald also appears here with some background vocals and piano. Robben explores territory I've not heard him cover before. I would love to know what was going on in his life when he wrote this material. With the tracks "Nothing to Nobody", "Don't Lose Your Faith inMe" and "Hey Brother" it's apparent there were some personal struggles going on in reference to relationships with loved ones. "Lovin' Cup" closes the CD with a snappy pace that's more light hearted than some of the heavier songs. Personally I love this work by Robben Ford and can highly recommend this release to his fans or first time listeners.

  • a natural born six stringer

this is another fine example of the enormous talent of robben ford,on this recording,he opted for a more derrivative, more mainstream approach, using strings, and wind instruments, but robben's guitar is very prevelant throughout this recording, and an appearance by michael macdonald,is the icing on the cake.
