The battery was a perfect fit the Macbook Pro late 2013.The only issue was that the instruction booklet tells you to fully charge then full discharge the battery. This is something to do with calibrating the software - to be fare if I'd know that in advance I'd have thought twice about buying it because that's new to me. Anyway it is described as a Li-Ion and it worked when I switched the laptop on.
