The chain slot is right at 3/8" wide, should work great with my 5/16" chain. All corners are radiused to avoid cracking problems. I plan on putting this to use within the next week, lots of rotten cedar posts to replace with metal t-posts. Buy with confidence, this is made the way it should be for long term durability.

We asked for a replacement however the supplier had no individual bags and instead provided us a $2.00 refund which was above and beyond their responsibility. Nice product and great customer service.
