Genuine seal
Works brilliant, handy genuine seal and plastic retaining clip, seal has changed to a flexi silicone, far better than the original rubber, saves buying a complete toilet valve, and easily changed, turn water off, one turn of the quick release toilet flush valve mech, then just pry off the old plastic clip and old seal, all done in 5 mins and saves water

Repeat in a few years. A Temporary fix.
Lasted less than 2.5 years. The original lasted just under 3 years. Both I think are unacceptable. They are just not the best. I wish I could get one for the long term that is of better quality. You need to multibuy and keep them as spares ready to hand.

Simple to fit. Excellent value.
The cistern had developed a slow trickle into the bowl which eventually led to a mysterious flush. It was not the overflow so a quick check on the internet showed the likely cause - diaphragm valve. The enclosed instructions were easy to follow and it took less that twenty minutes to fit. Excellent!

Rubber seal part, Fixed leak in Ideal Standard toilet cistern
I bought 4 of these to fix my 4 toilet leaks. Product seems to be the original part for an Ideal Standard cistern. The rubber seal fixed my toilet leak at the inlet valve at the very bottom of the cistern. You can swap over the new part from the old part with ease, the instructions are wrong, you don’t need to remove or replace the white clip. Just pry the old seal out and push the new seal back in. Make sure you give the existing cistern parts a good clean so that debris don’t prevent a tight seal.I bought 4 of these to fix my 4 toilet leaks.
