The third in a series of Sherlock Holmes games from Ukrainian developer Frogwares, Ltd., The Awakened sees Holmes and his constant companion, Doctor Watson, trying to get to the bottom of a series of disappearances. The trail leads to a mysterious cult that worships the god Cthulhu, and players must help the sensible sleuth navigate five different universes and decipher clues given to him by more than 60 characters. A traditional point-and-click mystery adventure, The Awakened features more than 50 items to pick up and combine, and gamers must collect hundreds of documents and clues before solving this far-from-elementary mystery.

    great game loads of challenges and a good story line full of mystory

    If you are one of those individuals, whose only fun in gaming is to see how many creatures or enemy’s you can shoot, then this is not the game for you. However if you’re a person of average intelligence and have the ability to understand the English language enough to decipher clues and solve puzzling challenges you may find this game very enjoyable. The theme is well organized and very provocative making it hold your attention until the final scene and climax. Without a doubt it requires a lot of thought and will keep you guessing as well as adding much enjoyment in know you are solving the games encounters. The graphics are good enough to allow you to feel your part of the surrounding area and the dialog enhances the experience of picking out various clues to resolve the questions ...

    I completely & enthusiasticaly endorse 'Sherlock Holmes The Awakened'

    This was the third Sherlock Holmes game that I have played, and while I was familiar with the characters and the basic game format, nothing could have prepared me for the incredible adventure that awaited me in the 'The Awakened'. WOW - this game rocks! In a late 19th century London England kind of way, that is. Holmes & Watson embark on a most thrilling investigation, which kept me totally engrossed in the plot. There were twists-and-turns & surprises enough to keep the most expirienced gamer guessing, and completey engrossed. And be prepared! This game is NOT for the squeamish or faint-of-heart, and is rated 'Mature' for a good reason.

    Sherlock holmes-the awakening

    I am still playing the game. It isn't a bad game but it is challanging. There have been times when I get frustrated because I can not figure what comes next. I have had to go to walkthroughs online for help. I do like the ease of getting around the game. Once I was used to the way to walk and navigate my way it is much nicer than some other games I have played.

    Can't go wrong with Sherlock Holmes!

    Can't go wrong with Sherlock Holmes if you love a good mystery. This one's different, unique. As gruesome as it is, you'll enjoy The Awakened; there is much more to this game than the previous Holmes mysteries, although the graphics haven't advanced much. All in all, I give it a 5.

    Enjoyable horror/puzzle game.

    This is a really good observation based game, it has horror suspense and an interesting story along with a great atmosphere to put you in the moment, if you like: Adventure, horror and maybe a little detective work this is the game for you.
