A good story. Essentially " Thunderball " 20 years after with a few changes but the main plot is identical. It very much returns to the original "Fleming" like stories. The characters are believable and well acted. Connery reprises his role with aplomb. Basinger makes a worthy Bond girl and the villians are suitably evil and unbalanced Overall the film is entertalning and worthy of its place in a Bond collection

An above average movie in the standard 007 genre. It is essentially a re make of Thunderball, and was 'unofficial' in that it was NOT made by Eon Productions. Personally, I prefer 'Thunderball' which was an excellent movie. Firstly, for the Vulcan images and also Sean Connery was somewhat older when this picture, (his last as 007) was made.
