Great Looking and Accurate
This Bulova Accu-Swiss watch has an ETA 2824-2 movement with a fine calibrator (special tool provided) that allows the user to tweak the rate to match how they wear the watch. Most watches show speed variation depending on the state of how wound up they are, temperature, flat on their back (like on a bedside table), crown down (your arms dangling straight down), six o'clock up (arms resting on a table), etc. These small variations of plus and minus rate should average out to keep the watch accurate within a few seconds per day. For most decent automatics you can get within a minute per day. The trouble is that adjusting the rate requires opening the back, minute fiddling right at the heart of the watch, hoping that the seal hasn't got messed up, etc. It is a total pain! I've received compliments on the look of the watch and some questions about the fine rate adjustment port opposite the crown. Overall, I am very happy with this Swiss watch.

First of all very nice looking watch Wound it as per instructions wore it and had it on automatic watch winder yet it kept stopping So wasn't happy at all wouldn't recommend it

This is a beautiful looking watch as you will be able to see in the pictures, what you can’t do is feel The weight it’s reassuringly heavy with a decent strong strap, a very tactile watch too and really well made, I can only just hear the counterweight move when I flick the watch and it spins round so well, I have not as yet found the need to “calibrate” it as it’s keeping close to perfect time over the past few days perhaps a few seconds in difference, this is very good as it uses the ETA 2824 movement which is supposedly less accurate than the ETA 2892 A in the chronograph model (63C118) that I have these are the movements that go into omega, longings, tag heur, and plenty more top watch’s so don’t be afraid of buying these Bulova watches they both look and feel amazing and you will ...
