Product is a great way of reviving a broken door
The product is good quality and is easy to fit. I recommend that you measure the mechanism first because I ordered the wrong size. The team At PC Plastics were very understanding and helpful and arranged a replacement mechanism. I would recommend this product and the supplier. It's a lot cheaper than s new door or a new locking system.

Good direct replacement lock gear box.
This lock was a direct drop-in for the broken one I was replacing. I simply removed the old one and screwed the new one in it place, and was then able to lock my house again :) It did take some time to discover the exact type to replace the broken one with, but the effort I made to track down the correct type, was well worth the easy of the Job. This site enabled me to identify the correct type. Having said that it does take some time to take the mechanism out of the door, remove the lock, remove the broken gear box, and then reassemble, but it was not difficult.This lock was a direct drop-in for the broken one I was replacing. replacement plastic door gearbox
Apart from having to file out the holes for the lock and latch in the bar as the new one had wider lock and latch than the original. But after a lot of unwanted taking the gearbox on and off to make sure nothing was binding,it now works well. Would have like brass lock and latch as the old on was!
