ESPN Extreme Games makes its PlayStation debut as a racing game designed in the combative spirit of Road Rash. The action is played from a third-person perspective as players embark on a 12-race season using street luges, inline skates, mountain bikes, and skateboards. Five courses take place in San Francisco, Utah, Lake Tahoe, Italy, and South America. Video clips of broadcaster Suzy Kolber are displayed after each race, in which she offers words of encouragement or pointed criticism of your performance. Punch and kick your competition to gain an edge, or challenge a friend via split-screen display.

    Sweet Game Action Packed Lots of Fun

    I had a demo disk on this game and loved to play it but I lost it and I also have 2 Extreme which is a great game also so I found this one and bought it. Great game lots of fun Thanks

    One of the BEST games on playstation IMHO!!!!

    I use to play this game non-stop almost every day of the week with my cousins! It is very addictive and the vs mode is simply superb!!! You can use bicycles, luges, inline skates...(i may be missing something)but the options are great! Makes the game so much more interesting and fun to play! So 5yrs later ( I am now 21 yrs of age), I have finally decided to find this gem again, after having broken it in the past. I really do think this is one of my best games of all time! (next to gallop racer 2000). There is nothing today that entices me as much as these old ps1 games. This game in particular is FANTASTIC and I EXTREMELY recommend it! A must have for a racing game lover!!!!!!

    Awesome Game

    We bought this game years ago, not long after Playstation came out. We love this game. It is a great game for bringing families together to play video games. We would literally play this for four or more hours with our kids. We got so good that we knew the courses and obstacles and even the cash bonus challenge at the end. We had my nieces and nephews over often to play even when they were just six or seven years old. It is challenging enough for an adult (casual gamer) but easy enough for a kid to play. Very entertaining! Get this for your family. You will be glad you did.

    a lot of fun . especially with two players .

    the only thing i was disappointed by , was the commentary from the espn gal is missing . i have to imagine that this must be a reboot version that cut out that part for some reason . i miss her comments .
