      Fabulous improvement on an already great turntable

      I've had my Rega Planar 2 turntable for decades and thought the sound was excellent. I read a review of this platter in an old mag and wondered if it was still available. It was and relatively inexpensive so I took a punt. What a good purchase. I couldn't believe the difference - Highs clearer and crisper, bass even better separated, no rumble - just briliant. I can't recommend this patter too highly - it dammed good.

      "Platter Up" your Rega

      Nicely priced for a quality addition to my Rega...I didn't use the dampener but kept it for the future...The platter's lines are absolutely true vertically, which was important to me with the AT440mlb using a low tracking force...The 10mm might be a little thin for some, but on the Rega with a mat, it's perfect...I didn't think I wanted the unnecessary weight of a 13 or 15mm platter and I don't the decision....Price was a bargain and delivery was sooner than expected by me and predicted by them and Ebay....Greg

      Visually stunning upgrade who cares if there's a sonic improvement?

      Yes people swear by the sonic benefits. Yes some people put the vinyl directly to it-I won't due to the need to do this whilst the platter spins and exposing my vinyl to damage if I clatter it to the rotating edge (I won't be told it doesn't happen) BUT there's no denying how fabulous it looks in position with light refracting through it. My Nad 533 is now pimped to a new dimension (with several other "sonic" upgrades that also happen look fabulous). Feel free to mock me but I tell the truth.

      A great upgrade.

      Not only does it enhance the appearance of my NAD 533 turntable, it also brings out more detail in the music which was absent with the original NAD/Rega platter. It's a winner for me.
