Another great read.
Frances Brody is an excellent author. I have got and read all her previous books, and wait each year for the next instalment. I love holidays in Yorkshire and know some of the areas of these books quite well. The new prison officer book too was fascinating too.

Not as good as previous books in the series.
Still good but not as good as previous books I think the author has run out of ideas. Some points do not mske sense or fit with previous books. She had started a new seris about a 1960s prison govenor I wish she had contiued with that series I'm sure that was the original intention.
