No disrespect to this seller, but I'm not at all impressed with this product. I usually use a very sharp knife to descale my fish it's a very efficient method but seeing the design of this tool I thought it may be cleaner. But no way can I recommend this product for descaling fish, it's cutting edge is a very thick blunt plastic wedge. I honestly believe you'd get better results using a potato peeler. I'm not giving up on the tool though it just might come in handy one day. Or perhaps not.
