I decided to try to remove the rear differential bushing with the sub-frame still in the car. The rear differential bushing is the bushing that when broken causes the thud sound. I removed the differential and sway bar then soaked the area in PB-Blaster for 24 hours , set up the tool and the bushing came out but required some firm hammer strikes to get it started. Installation required a small spacer/washer that's not in the kit but I found in my spare hardware . This is not for novices.
