    The actual hard drive is a travelstar so obviously not the best, but it’s what I ordered (I wanted to buy the loudest hard drive I could find). Dude, the packaging for this thing was SO neat. TON of bubble wrap and neat packing tape around it and in a box. I’ll show you a picture, I just cut the end open and pulled the drive out of the wrap. The drive worked, so that’s good. Said when I ordered it it would be here Nov 21 but it got here Oct 22nd all of a sudden, so fast shipping! Thx bft_dske!

    Replacement

    I took out an old hard drive, which ended up being this exact same one. The old one wouldnt work. The new one, once installed, did not automatically want to take Windows 7 installation. I had to work with it for awhile but managed to get the drive to take Windows 7. Now, it is running perfect. I would recommend it for a replacement drive for sure! It is quiet and fast. Only reason i am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the issue above.

    Clunky unrealiable win 10

    Tried to like win 10 on an older dell optiplex 745 of which is a speed demon for win xp and win 7, for the most part.....but with win 10 this o.s. is clunky and bloated.
