    The Sony Lens Hood for RX10 & RX10 II Cyber-Shot digital cameras works very well.

    This original Sony lens hood works very well and is easy to install on the camera as compared to most of the lower priced non-Sony products. Yes other products may, will or should work, but they from experience are not nearly as easy to use or to install. The only thing that I will say negative is that the Sony lens hood costs about five time the cost of a non-Sony lens hood and it is a bit too high a price in my opinion.

    Best lens hood option for Sony RX10

    Using the lens hood is greatly reducing lens flare, and even where there are no obvious internal elections or obscuring flare, the overall contrast and deep color saturation is visibly improved in many images. It was well worth spending a little more money to get the most in image quality from this camera.
