Thanks for letting me know about the smell and that it dissipated after a while. I'm glad we figured out it was the aromatic aldehyde of the stick-stuff remover I use to clean the cases. Must admit I was *really* intrigued as we're a non-smoking pet-free household and I assumed that any traces of the solvent would evaporate in the days it takes to deliver. I shall ensure they get thoroughly ventilated in future :-)
