Usually heavy restaurantware means thick durable vintage dishes but these feel like an extremely heavy decor piece and appear to be not tempered, making them unsafe for drinking hot liquids out of. I issued a full refund and allowed them to keep the other mug. Now they are leaving feedback about the items manufacturing, which I can't control. I wish to have feedback removed.
