    For Christmas my boyfriend wanted this comic set. Of course he tells me two weeks after the movie is released in theaters. This comic is gorgeous! The pages are so well illustrated, he was so grateful.

    Some clarity...

    Lethal protector is not the first appearance of venom...the first appearance of the symbyote suit in AMS 300, AMS 252, Marvel team up 141 and Secret wars 8. Then the first cover appearance was AMS 316. THE MOVIE IS NOT BASED ON LETHAL PROTECTOR!!! It's a bit more like Separation Anxiety with bits of the other Venom stories mixed in. The final issue (pun intended) is the price...a high graded AMS 300 goes for about the same price of $500...and you'll have the actual first appearance of Venom. I bought a SUPER HIGH GRADE copy, ungraded for $350. This 9.4 book is worth about $60-$80. Just a heads up from your friendly neighborhood comic collector!!! Happy hunting!!

    Venom Leathal Protector Watch This Issue Grow With Demand!

    First of all I find this particular character very fascinating. Venom is like your good guy bad guy and seems like he easily could take out Spiderman (he is much bigger and stronger) but since Spiderman know his weaknesses (one is sound) -- Spidey can beat him, but I think Venom will be around for a long time, same with Carnage. This issue is the bomb. I am grabbing all I can find for $5 and less. I have 2 Gold copies, one a 9.4 the other raw. I have 2 9.8 copies of the Lethal Protector #1 and almost 20 of that issue in the raw. I am new to comics as far as being totally obsessed with something. I was like that with baseball cards in the 80's and early 90's -- after that fast cars and girls became number 1. Happy collecting. I forsee a movie with Venom in it, I heard 2015 after the 2014 ...
