Well built, Looks Great, and really easy to Set up and Use. It has electronic pinpointing. This helps you to accurately locate targets. There is an option to both accept/ and reject a discrimination signal and this will help you to modify discrimination patterns so you can find exactly what you are looking for. It has five different search modes which allows you to select pre-set discrimination level or you are able to create your own. The continuous coin depth indication helps you to determine your chosen targets depth. It also has a battery life display so you know where you stand with regards to power. A Velcro strap is also present for securing the machine to your arm taking the weight strain away. Garrett Ace 250 Metal Detector
It's light weight. Collapses down relatively small for storage & when in use, has found dozens of finds. On the down side.... There's only one noise. It's loud! Unable to turn down.There's no volume control & was unable to use headphones as the noise on detection was far to loud even with earphones worn around my neck.

Good Quality and lightweight
This is my second Garrett Ace 250 easy to use with great features My previous one was accidently broken when moving house. Having now got a new one i can now carry on with the hobby i like. I would highly recommend this detector for both novice and the experienced user on a budget.

Fantastic all rounder
Fantastic machine for starters of metal detecting and also advanced users, this machine is easy to understand and also tweak the sensitivity to cut out the stuff you don’t want... As I have progressed in experience I have tried other detectors but find I’m always drawn back to this one, would most definitely recommend this machine.
