I asked the sellers if the dates do not have whiteness on them which could imply old dates. He said the dates are fresh. Unfortunately they aren't. I received the order almost after a week, and the dates were not fresh and two times more expensive than supermarkets. I didn't order any other dates trusting the sellers words. Now I have to go back to the post office to return these and wait more dates for other brand on Amazon to send fresh dates.

Dry and discoloured dates
Quite dry dates. The boxes are not airtight sealed and are quite dry and tough, some of them are discoloured (white). Not really impressed. They are also expensive, working out at almost £5.00 per box, whereas I have just seen some boxed dates in a leading supermarket at £3.59! feel a little bit disgruntled at both the quality and the price. Would not buy again.

Proper dates, the best!
The dates are so soft and have a toffee like flavour. I sometimes remove the stone and add a little peanut or almond butter, Yum. Great price too. Better than any the supermarkets sell. I have recommended them to several friends.
