Lightweight heater
Excellent lightweight heater, only problem are the tubes, they use a different connection to other heaters of simpler design, so far unable to find anyone who sells them and no reply from seller about this. So once the tubes go you'll have to throw it away,because it seems no one makes this type of tube with this type of connection.

Low price but broken after a couple of weeks!
I am always wary about giving positive or negative feedback on electricals goods because you don't know how long to wait before things might go wrong. Well I used this heater for a couple of days and all was ok so I elected positive feedback. WRONG. Tonight I turn on the main power switch and the the first bar lit up and as it went colder I decided to put the next middle bar on. Sadly it has gone, blown whatever you want to call it. I then tried the third bar and that still lights up. But 2 out of three bars after only a couple of weeks ? Very poor. Please be warned and go for a higher priced heater. To send it back at my own expense for repair or exchange is not worth it with the original price being low. Cheap little fire
They are basically all the same. The bars don't last very long generally. They are not that easy to replace either. But until somebody comes up with something better looks like we're all stuck with them. Prices can vary quite a bit and the more expensive ones are no better than the cheap ones I'm afraid to say.

Does the job but not really impressed
The elements in this fire are far too bright. I know that sounds a strange thing to say but I bought this to replace a halogen heater which had brocken and expected similar results. However the heating tubes in this don't give a nice cosey orangey/red glow they are more akin to a halogen outside light and seem to give off more light than heat so the result is not really a nice warm atmosphere therefore I'm not really impressed. I certainely wouldn't buy another the same make as this one.The elements in this fire are far too bright.
