The sanding sealer is good but the bottle it comes in is rubbish.
The product is good. It works well and dries particularly fast. The bottle it comes in is badly designed. The "safety" cap quickly gets stuck tight with the shellac and is impossible to remove without mole grips!

Good results just way overpriced
Normally make my own but thought that I would try a professional product and see if the results were any better. Well, they were just the same so back to using my own mixture. Also very expensive for what you get.

A good professional finish
I have used Rustins sanding sealer for many years, it is a bit pricey, I've tried others and some of these are as thin as milk, they soak into the wood well, but never give the wonderful finish that can be achieved by applying 2 - 3 coats Rustins, and sanding down between coats with the finest of abrasives, finally polishing with steel wool '0000' and wax like Hampshire sheen.
