    No-nonsense,powerful professional mc.

    Having used cordless tools for as long as they have been out,in electrical engineering,this is,by a long way,the best ever.Steady start,massive torque in 1st gear(it could break your wrist without the handle on!)..The torque limiting clutch,operates as it should but then the electronics also stops the motor.Good feature.Seems to be a good qaulity chuck too.Auto LED light feature is usful too.Can be left on as a worklight..These guys must have thought of everything in this package..Great tool.

    An awesome and much needed replacement and addition to my power tools.

    A much needed replacement as my black and decker broke after 20 years of use, and this Dewalt DCD996 is an awesome addition. Being partially disabled this has made a lot of my work go much faster without feeling any adverse vibrations in my titanium shoulder replacements. Been using it on multiple projects around the house and works perfectly. The battery life is impressive as well as the charging time. Overall very happy with my new cordless and the accessories. Some photos of the work I’ve been doing with my new Dewalt Combi Hammer Drill since I got it. Look forward to purchasing from them in the future. Thank you again and all the best.

    Dewalt Drill

    This drill I assume was originally for the European market as the charger came with a euro two pin pre-moulded plug. This was not advised in the description of the drill. I hope that this will not invalidate any possible guarantee claims later. Overall the drill appears to be brand new but initially the type of charger plug did dishearten me

    Best drill ever made

    Awesome drill! For me beats the equivalent Makita version as the handle doesn't stick out miles & has a better work light that's adjustable... low, medium & high stays on for 20 mins & acts as a very handy work light. With two 5ah batteries, huge amounts of power, metal chuck & three speeds makes it a tool reassuring to be on site. I've not had it long enough to start using the electric clutch. For more delicate work I use a much smaller 10.8v drill & 18v SDS for heavy duty masonry... In my opinion it would be better if they'd made the second handle rubberised, but other than that it's the best drill I've ever owned. It comes with a three year guarantee too, which is reassuring...
