Neither blanking plate had been secured in their individual bubble wrap pouch and both items were scratched upon opening, presumably because they had been rubbing metal on metal during transit. From a design and function perspective, the blanking plates would benefit from a rubber foot pad to prevent damage to the fairing paintwork when installed. I would also like to have seen them supplied with nuts.
