In Walt Disney's The Jungle Book: Rhythm n' Groove, players match onscreen cues contained in "beat-circles" by tapping corresponding keys (D-Pad and buttons) in rhythm to the music being played. The level of accuracy of the keystrokes equates to five levels of points: Bull's Eye (500 points), Perfect (100), Good (50), Average (25), and Miss (0). Correctly hitting three consecutive keys will initiate a "combo" and result in special point awards that continue to grow until a key is missed.<br><br>Rhythm n' Groove features a Story Mode that features nine environments from the animated movie, as players help move Mowgli out of harm's way, namely the danger posed by Shere Khan the Tiger. Four levels of difficulty are available (determining the speed at which the arrow cues fall), and power-ups and character challenges offer bonus points, special effects, and special animations. Songs and characters must be unlocked in Story Mode for use in the two-player Versus mode.<br><br>Other features of The Jungle Book: Rhythm n' Groove include two types of multiplayer games (Power-Up Confrontation and Dance Marathon), lyrics from nine songs, and a multi-purpose Jungle Gallery. The gallery contains a Dancing Stage (view animations), Jungle Theater (FMV from Story mode), Karaoke Music Hall (singalong), and Lou Bega's Bonus (special dance challenges to unlock his video). A "Temple of Fame" tracks the high scores from all gaming modes and difficulty settings. Characters featured in the game include Mowgli, Bagheera, Junior, Baloo, The Monkey, King Louie, Kaa, Buzzy, Shere Khan, and Shanti.

    Walt Disney's The Jungle Book: Rhythm n' Groove (Playst

    My kids, who are 4 and 7 years old, love the super cute catchy tunes on this PS2 game. It is, however, mind-numbingly simple and there aren't many variations to the game, so they have a tough time getting Dad to play it with them for very long. They don't play it very often, but some. It is very cute, and the tunes are catchy, but not a favorite in our house. It doesn't hold their attention for very long.

    Walt Disney's The Jungle Book Rhythm N' Groove (PS2)

    I am not a gamer but my husband and 9 yr old daughter both are. I wanted to get a game that I could do with them so I bought another well known dance game and since I have no gaming experience, I could not do it at all! Not wanting to be defeated, I found Walt Disney's The Jungle Book Rhythm N'Groove game for Playstation 2 and thought this would be the perfect way to learn. Well, not only did I learn but I love this game. My daughter and I have a fun activity we can do toghether and it is also excersize at the same time. This game has many different levels and game options so you won't get bored. There are all the favorite Jungle Book songs and a couple of new ones. I don't know if this game would be too easy for a serious gamer but it is a lot of fun to share with your kids!! I highly ...

    Entertaining Family Fun

    First tried this game at Epcot, and really liked it. The game is easy for little children and somewhat challenging for older kids and adults. If you have played Dance Dance Revolution 2 and are even somewhat proficient at it, Disney's The Jungle Book Rhythm N' Groove will seem easy. This is a great starter game for dance pad usage.

    AWESOME GAME

    My seven year old son loves to play this game. If my seven yeard old (PS2 pro) can play it and has a hard time beating the game then it was worth every penny. I purchase all my Playstation 2 games for my son on ebay and always find a great deal. This was a good buy

    GREAT PS2 Starter Game for KIDS!

    If your starting your kid out on Playstation.....this is a must have game! Kids have a Blast playing this & it was the very first game that my lil' Playstation nut ever Beat the entire game! It took her quite a few trys, but she eventually got it! The kids also enjoy singing along with all the songs from the Jungle Book movie while they are playing! Another MUST HAVE Kids PS2 Game!
