I read loads of reviews on this before purchasing for my sons hair, he has very thick hair and was hoping for control without a greasy or gel look but it did not meet expectations. I worked it through his hair but it wasn't very workable and didn't provide the hold I was expecting. Although it looked greasy at first it settled down but made his hair really fluffy and didn't maintain any style. After half an hour my sons hair was flat but fluffy in texture and took some effort to wash out. I’ve used this hair product for a while now, love it. People who complain about it are not using it correct. If you’re getting a greasy look, you’re using too much and you’re not rubbing it in enough. Also, when you washed your hair last, how it’s been sitting before styling and how dry your hair is makes a big difference.
