Excellent game! Only wish there was an updated one on the new consoles.
This game is amazing. It is the most accurate video game portrayal of a card game that i have found. While it can take a while to get used to the controls... once you get the hang of it... its like playing a card game against a computer. HELLA FUN! Only problem i have with it is how old it is. Someone really needs to do a new version of this for the latest consoles. That said... the poor graphics(compared to new games these days) do not deter from the game-play in any way. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys fantasy card games.(Magic the Gathering, Spell-fire, etc..)This game is amazing. Both my 37 year old husband and 10 year old son love this game. We are on our second copy of it. It is great when you can't find any one to play the actual card game with. It is a little difficult until you get used the rules even if you know the game. Once you get over the complicated play rules , it is really fun.

Magic the gathering Battlemage is for New/Old magic players. This is one of the 1st playstsion games i remember that had all my fav magic cards i was using in my own deck. One name Lord of the pit!!! Do i need to say more this game is so hard to find feel lucky if you get a copy.Dont guess on this buy this game is a must have 1-2 player action nice deck set up mode Battlemage is way ahead of it time but still came out before pokemon and yuggi- O lol.Magic the gathering Battlemage is for New/Old magic players. It's an older game. Graffics are kinda lame and the basic structure is simple. I wish they'd make a better one but I think they have something online.
