Ben Greene (Binder) is an American comedy writer who moves to London when he's hired to work on a British television series called Tedford Gate. Tedford Gate stars Carly Matthews-Portland (Mariel Hemingway), a once-popular American actress who has found new popularity working in Europe; her husband Allen (Colin Firth), a stereotypically stiff-upper-lipped Englishman, is the producer of the show. As Ben adjusts to life in London, Carly decides to play matchmaker and fixes him up with Fiona Delgrazia (Irene Jacob), a lovely makeup artist from France who works on the show. Ben is quite taken with Fiona, and she with him, but Carly finds herself increasingly intrigued by Ben, while Allen secretly carries a torch for Fiona. Everyone has to take a long look at their increasingly complicated romantic commitments when Fiona takes a job in Italy and Allen wonders if he should follow her; Ben, meanwhile, has written a play and has found a British producer willing to stage it, but when he offers the female lead to Carly, he soon comes to the conclusion he's made a mistake. Londinium also features Stephen Fry, Jack Dee, and Christopher Lawford.

    It is what it says on the tin

    The DVD was as it stated on the Ebay site which was orginal in the case and was in good working order as stated, not like some of these other where they wwas cheap DVD's what came free out of the newspapers and just comes in a cardboard sleeve. I was happen with this overall purchase of Fourplay DVD. Mr Michael Webster

    great dvd.....

    it was a good dvd, love colin firth and any film hes in!! it is a good story line and was worth buying!! id never herd of this film until i came across it on ebay, glad i bought it!!

    i bought this without knowing or hearing of the film,mostly my reasons were the actors envolved what a mistake that was!! this is truely the worst film i have ever seen unwatchable drivel an acting class in how not to act!! i wont even sell in on through ebay i wouldnt want to put anyone else through this utter rubbish any ideas what recycle bin dvd's go in ?? very poor film indeed

    Fourplay - very appropriate title!

    This was quite enjoyable and entertaining, filled a gap when nothing else was on the tv. Not a very challenging storyline, two couples getting together as friends, getting married and cheating among themselves and still being unhappy. However, Colin Firth is always watchable.

    Four Play - comedy

    It's an ok Brit flick that is spoilt by the 2 Americans in it! (Hemingway and Binder) Would have been better if Jack Dee had a bigger part, also Stephen Fry is brilliant as the therapist but not enough of him in the film either. There are some laugh out loud moments but too few to rate this any higher than average.
