By far, the best product/price that I could find!
I purchased this book originally because my 8th Grader was going into a HS Freshman math class. It is the same book used, although this version is the CA Standards Edition. Skimming/comparing the two, they appear to be the exactly the same. I hadn't done this type of math in a long time. I wanted to brush up a little and see what that class was going to look like. As life often happens, I ended up beginning college classes at a community college, with their own text books. Although, this purchase hasn't been used the they way first intended, I am please with the price paid. The least expensive, brand new text that I found. The book is in a very good condition. The content is great. The author provided many easy-to-learn examples and thoughtful practice problems. My daughter uses this book to review the basic alegebra. She graspes the concepts through the examples and practice problems. It is a very good Math book for the middle school student.

Great value for the money
I bought this book for my grandson, who will start middle school in the fall. The Algebra lessons are used for studies in preparation for the classes that he will undertake. So far, the lessons are doing everything that the book was intended. My only concern with the book is that it was stamped as the property of a local high school. The seller insisted that he has the authority to sell them. and he has been selling similar books for many years. I could nott buy another for that price. So I accepted his explanation and kept itI bought this book for my grandson, who will start middle school in the fall.
