    Starter motor replacement on a ford transit

    I fitted this starter motor to a 2008 ford transit based motorhome. The original had become sluggish and intermittent but due to only covering 50,000 miles I was unsure if the problem was relay or ignition problems. After removing I tested the original ford starter motor and solenoid and it seemed to be fine! So started to think I had wasted my money on a replacement! Fitted the new one without expecting any improvement but was amazed at the difference, the engine now starts up instantly and enthusiastically which is better than I ever remember in the fifteen years of owning the vehicle. So very pleased and would recommend 😊
