This is a lightweight pet wheelchair that offers durable construction and ease of adjustment for dogs with rear leg handicaps. The frame is made from aircraft-grade aluminum and the harnessing, made from nylon, is fully washable.     It mostly does is job

    The velcro holding the bag leg loops sometimes comes undone, making for a very unhappy paralyzed dog. Also, adjusting the damn thing takes a few more times than previously thought. All in all it is light weight and makes him very happy. I wish he could sit in it, however.

    Does the job but simple fixes could make it a lot better

    I found this easy to put together and materials are of a good quality. The biggest problem in my opinion is the harness system. You have to remove it from the chair every time you take the dog in and out and this just creates a lot more trauma for the dog than necessary. We ended up adapting it by cutting the lower front strap and adding another snap buckle. Now we can leave the harness attached (though that attachment could be way better). Still have to put an arm through the frame, reach under the dog, and lift the rear end out of the leg harness but better than taking the front harness off an on the chair and the dog every time.

    Lightweight apparatus and is adjustable

    I bought this product for my little 6 pound dog, Lucy, who has lost most of the use of her hind legs. The product is a good one I think and I am in process now to help Lucy learn how to use it. My dog is blind so this condition will probably cause us to have to work with it for a good while to get her to use it without apprehension. I can see where a sighted dog would take to it much more quickly than my Lucy has up to this point. We will keep striving to make it work for us!

    My old girl loves it!

    My mini beagle is 17 and her left rear leg started to suffer paralysis from spinal arthritis. When she started to drag her foot and lose her balance I ordered the wheelchair. She took to it right away and her mobility increased dramatically. He tail is wagging again and she even gives me a little jog once in a while. This wheelchair has the ability to let her use her back legs to walk with support, or, in the event that her legs become less functional, the wheelchair has attachments that will support her legs completely. She really loves her chair.

    AWESOME

    My paralyzed mini Dachshund absolutely loves it! She now goes over to it to tell me when she wants to go for a walk. It took about a week for her to adjust to it, but now she has her freedom to go for a walk outside!!
