OKAY but not great
NOt the magic bullet that I have heard other brands can be. 2 year old gasket required copious quantities to infiltrate and soften the old gasket. Okay but by no means great.

Not worth the money
I used this before back in the 90s, it was far more effective than it is now. Only after multiple applications and vigorous scraping does it work. Would I buy it again? Very unlikely, I will get a tin of nitromors. Like most things these days they have to fiddle around and de-tune it, not doubt to meet some ridiculous EU rule

Loctite 7200 gasket remover
Truly does what it says on the tin, providing you follow the instructions. Tip Though, I used it to clean up a motorcycle engine case which had a very thin edge. The case was painted so to avoid damage from overspray I used a small brush and painted it on after spraying it onto some card (like a mini paint tray) works a treat, no wire brush or scraper required either as a wipe with a micro fibre cloth worked wonders. Old gasket removed, case edge bright as new!Truly does what it says on the tin, providing you follow the instructions.
