[I cheated and had it installed I know my limits.] I did need the MOST kit on my Merc 2004 W211 E320 Avant-garde V6 Petrol. I have added some of the toys from the list the OBD2 is installed and works fine it did need a code 1234 and a reversing camera is on its way for the price I think good value for the money
