Supposed to be new but suspect these were rejects as I had a qualified tech install it in my Toyota radio after it was diagnosed as being the problem and they couldn’t source a new one. Lasted all of 10 min then went back to no sound. Tech rechecked the chip and found it had died, his best guess was that due to the low cost of the chip they were probably rejects from Toshiba. He finally sourced a good chip out of the US at 5 times what I paid here and the radio works fine now.
