  • Enjoy reading about George Sanders solving a murder!

Of course, George Sanders didn't really write this book-it was "ghostwritten" by Craig Rice. The book was published to take advantage of Sanders' popularity. I really like the book because the plot is a murder on the movie location that everyone expects George, the star of the movie, to solve because of his detective work as "The Saint" and "The Falcon". Of course he is clueless, but he fakes it well. There is humor in the book also and I think Craig Rice captures a lot of George's mannerisms and attitudes in the book. The only thing I didn't like was when Craig writes that Sanders taps the cigarette on his thumb as did "The Falcon" but it was really "The Saint" who did that. I would buy the book again and I recommend it highly. It is a fun read.
