Best earplugs I have used (motorcycling)
Best earplugs I have ever used for motorcycling. All other plugs I have used in the past all shared the same problem; All engine vibrations and other low frequency sounds got amplified. So it always ended up sounding worse than not using any earplugs at all. I could sometimes get it to work but I had to really push the plugs so deep that they were basically touching against my eardrum :D. I recently learned that what I was experiencing was "occlusion effect". These earplugs however, are vented. Meaning basically they have a hole running through them which eliminates this effect completely. I didn't think that would do that much of a difference, but it really does. It's obviously more complicated than a simple vented hole, but that is the basic of how it works :) If you have had similar ... Best earplugs I have ever used for motorcycling. Pros: * Works great * Small, so it fits inside the helmet without touching the sides. * A tube case included that can be attached to your keyring * Save time putting them on. Don't buy ,overpriced and average quality.
I have used hearing protection all my working life without any problems. These auritech ear plugs are useless . I have a relatively tight ear canal but one of the plugs slipped right inside and had to be removed with tweezers. They are expensive for what are pretty standard ear plugs with internal DB reducing baffles. Because they are not fit for purpose I contacted the supplier but they refused to reimburse me. I have since bought some very good plugs (32db reduction) very comfortable fit with laces £1 25 a pair from industrial PPE suppliers and each pair comes in its own plastic box. ...I have used hearing protection all my working life without any problems. They work for me
Work well at reducing noise on my Guzzi, but can still hear the jolly engine noise. Fit comfortably in the lugholes, and come in a handy tin which goes on my keyring.

Better than expected
My mate gave me a pair of these. He stopped using them because of a unrelated ear infection. I'm quite surprised how well they work on my motorcycle. I can still hear the intercom while they stop the loud harmful tireing noises. I used to wear 3m disposable yellow Minion plugs but they drowned out everything. The little aluminium container with these plugs fits very well on my keyring. The only downside I see is the price at £20. If you lose one it's a big loss.
