About this product

Product Information

The Austin Seven is one of the most universally appealing and desirable small cars of all time. It was manufactured in a variety of forms, from simple open tourers to saloons, vans, sports cars and even racers, and left an indelible mark on the course of motoring history. Production of this still world-famous car ceased in 1939 after 17 years, during which time some 291,000 chassis had been made. Originally published in 1989, and re-issued due to popular demand, this is the most complete work of reference ever published on the marque and is essential reading for all Austin Seven owners, restorers and enthusiasts.

It's a perfect book, basically brand new. It's so new the pages give off that new book smell. That's great. It was also packed very well for a nice long journey. Seller shipped it immediately and was kind enough to send a message breaking down how GSP works, which I hadn't encountered before, so that was extremely helpful. Excellent transaction overall.

  • "The Source Book ! " - the one that covers them all !!

I bought the book specifically as it had been recommended as an ideal starting point in researching this marque of vehicle as the author has put a tremendous effort into covering all bases to produce what has been aptly titled "The Source Book" . In the short period since owning the book it has already proved to be an invaluable resource in my specific research so I am as you might say well impressed!! The book itself I knew had been out of print for some time and prices had gone through the roof - The particular book I managed to purchase was half the price of any other copies I had seen advertised before (although it was still nearly four times as much as the original ...
