Tiger's back and EA's got him. This "2005" edition of the best-selling golf series will challenge the superstar prodigy like never before, however, with its new "Tiger-Proofing" course editing tools. Course can be altered, with longer tees or narrower fairways for example, to take away some of the advantages the accurate, long-ball hitting Tiger Woods wields. As in other recent versions of Tiger Woods PGA Tour, single players create their own customized golfer (using a new and improved version of EA's Game Face feature) and attempt to work the character up the leader boards of various tournaments and events, eventually earning the right to challenge a number of unlockable real-life legends of the sport, including Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods himself.

My personal favorite
Ok, so the graphics are dated being a 2005 game but you can still customize your character and courses. The best part is the Legends challenge playing against, Jack, Arnold, Seve, Gary, Ben and Tiger. A really great selection of about 14 courses where 4 are created for the game. I've mastered the game and can still loose a challenge.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 (Game Cube)
EA Sports has been pushing it's limits to create the best golf game around, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 is a huge step in the right derection compared to last years game; In my opinion, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005's graphics are not the best in any golf game out there, for instance, there are some framerate issues in the Gamecube version, although the graphics do have their highlights. Especially the crazy camera when you swing a very accurate shot. The gameplay in this game is tuned to perfection, I especially enjoyed the analog swing, even though there are some notable problems in the putting. The sound is fairly decent, but theres one problem, THE DAMN COMMENTATORS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT! Except when you spin the ball as much as you can. Overall, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 is simply, the best ... Very fun game if you like playing video golf
I liked this game, it was really fun to play all the different players and the practice/target mode is fun too. I especially like how you design your player with different hair, noses, ears, weight, and clothes. The thing I disliked was sitting through the instructional part and it not letting you play until you pass all the shots. I'm not especially fond of having to go back and forth between the 2 disks either. Overall, its been a great family game.I liked this game, it was really fun to play all the different players and the practice/target mode is fun too. I especially like how you design your player with different hair, noses, ears, weight, and clothes. PGA TOUR 2005 Tiger Woods
I thought it would be a game that my 11 year old son would enjoy. The hardest thing for him is getting me off so he can play. We have enjoyed the competition level of this game and the different courses around the world. I would highly recommend this game to any age person, be beware that its hard to stop playing.
