Amazing concert, the band as well as the Berliner Philharmonic Orchestra, and also the invited artists and children

This is a phenomenal live performance, the hard rock sound of the Scorpions blends seamlessly with the rich sounds of the Berlin Philharmonic to create a huge sounding ensemble. Rudolph Schenker really shines as a virtuoso guitarist, especially in the 16 minute epic 'Sting Suite Symphony', and Klaus Meine still has a sensational voice. The rest of the band work very well as well and deliver an excellent performance. The Berlin Philharmonic are undoubtedly one of the best orchestras in the world and, as you'd expect, are flawless from start to finish; the orchestral parts took 5 years to write and ought to keep classical musicians/listeners very happy. Highlights for me would be 'Rock You Like A Hurricane', 'Wind of Change', 'Sting Suite Symphony' and 'Still Loving You'. Yoututbe it if you ...
