This was a good movie and I really loved the ending. I watched the ending more than a few times. Just did not like how they used the "N" word so many times but understand that was in that era that it was used so freely. Blacks surely had to endure so much pain, suffering and death during that era so it was good to see one black man taking charge. Jamie Foxx should have won an oscar for his role

A slam, bang, bloody, good movie; if you like that sort of thing!
This movie provides some good entertainment, but you have to be a fan of Quentin Tarantino's love of bloody, violent scenes. He does them well and this one may just approach being a bit over the top in that department. The stars all come through in excellent fashion and deliver great and at times surprising performances. The filming, staging, sets, and special effects are all top shelf. The movie will also make you think about any number of things including what some of our fellow human beings are capable of.This movie provides some good entertainment, but you have to be a fan of Quentin Tarantino's love of bloody, violent scenes. Great Acting
I love Leonardo Decaprio, Jamie Fox, and Samuel L Jackson, who happens to be one of my favorite actors!! Another fact is that this movie is an all star cast!! The motion picture was directed by one of the actors, also a key factor. This film gives an acting performance that truly shows what talent is all about!!!

I love westerns,but I have never watched one quite like this. It has you feeling so many different emotions and you don't know how to feel at the end. I highly recommend this movie.It's one of the best!

Another typically formatted Tarantino epic. The film is packed with named actors and is set in the Old South of 1858. The movie focuses upon a freed slave named Django, and his benefactor and mentor Dr. King Schultz, a German dentist turned bounty hunter, and their collaboration to find and recover Django's slave wife Broomhilda. The film is somewhat enjoyable, but the extremely overplayed "slavery" angle and the constant hammering of the "N"-word throughout, almost sounds like a "Ghetto" infused conversation about basketball, fried chicken, getting laid, and robbing the local businesses! In fact, the racial slurs are so prolific, you begin to sort of feel like you are getting beat up by them. I'm sure that even in those days, this sort of activity ... After all, even though slavery was terrible, these people were still valuable property, and no property owner willfully destroys valuable goods. This same movie plot could have been set to 1980's LA with a battle between the "Bloods" and the "Crips" or any other group of rival drug pushers or pimps, both equally repulsive. This could have easily been a much more enjoyable film just based upon the plot if all of this "shock-jock" racial trash had been kept to a minimum. Instead, it plays out like a news story about some poor guy who got shot by bad cops. Locals play up the "poor victim" angle, loot stores, throw bottles, and destroy the area . . .Oh, then you find out that the poor victim has a rap sheet a foot long, and is a suspect in a dozen different crimes. Way too much liberal attitude.
