Product Information

Metal Arms is a third-person shooter starring a droid named Glitch on a mission to free his fellow robots from the tyrannical rule of General Corrosive and his evil android army. Taking place on the planet Iron Star, the game features 50 different missions spread across six distinct environments. Glitch is not your run-of-the-mill droid, however, so the seemingly insurmountable odds are well within reach. Glitch can fire off 18 different weapons, ranging from sniper rifles and rocket launchers to EMP grenades, drive four different vehicles, and collect a series of ability-enhancing power-ups. <br><br>Yet the biggest ace up his mechanical sleeve is the ability to jack into 12 types of droids and rewire their circuits. By sneaking up on an unsuspecting robot, Glitch can quickly attach a cable to its data port and then gain control. Players can then guide the robots, friend or foe, to access certain areas, activate items, interact with other robots, or to take a long stroll off a short catwalk. Once the robot is destroyed or moves out of range, control reverts back to Glitch and the mission continues. In addition to the single-player game, Metal Arms features competitive action for up to four robots in a choice of three multiplayer modes.

    This is my childhood!!!

    This game is so awesome. You play as glitch you are a droid fighting in a rebelion against the mills. All life is mechnaical. This game brings a new concept to the table in this adventure of a lifetime. The multiplayer is excellent too. I have clocked hundreds of hours into this game as a kid.

    Amazing game

    Metal Arms is one of my favorite games of all time. It was extremely underrated and didn't sell as well as it should have because of poor marketing. Also, I believe that it was overshadowed by Halo, which came out around the same time, and is also a 3rd person shooter. The graphics are just fine and they fit the story perfectly. The main character is a robot, Glitch. There are 35 fun missions, and awesome weapons. The tether gun allows you to take control of certain robots, a really cool feature. The only downside to the game is that you have to play campaign mode and find 'hidden chips' to unlock additional multiplayer maps. This was fine with me, since I LOVED the campaign mode. The story is hilarious, and you won't be able to put this game down. BUY IT, it's a classic in my book.

    fun challenging game

    It is an older game, single player story line. Fun toys for weapons and challenging hidden things in levels. If you think it is to easy; your not playing on a hard enough difficulty level. the PvP is utter madness =) does have vulgar language

    I've wanted this game for a long time.

    I've wanted it for a long time now. I still have the demo, but just kept putting it off until it just wasn't available anymore. I found this one in very good condition and just had to get it. The game is tons of fun, plays very well, and is overall, a great little game. One of the better games in the original XBOX generation. Very funny as well.

    Metal Arms: Glitch in the System review

    This is by far one of the greatest games I have every played. It has a great unique story that was well orchestrated. The game play was immense with tons of different weapons and vehicles to choose from. I spent hours with this game and highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a great classic. 10/10
